it's a good thing my elderly neighbor isn't the only one making observations about the way that i look now as someone who is 20 weeks along in her pregancy.
as brent and i were leaving the house on friday night, eileen, from the deck of her condo, yells out, "wow! you keep getting bigger and bigger!" (unfortunately, she didn't stop there.) "pretty soon," she says, "you're going to have to start wearing brent's clothes!" (thanks for the boost of confidence before i head out for night out on the town with my husband. there's nothing like envisioning yourself wearing your husbands clothes if you want to feel attractive.)
i will say though that eileen is in a class of her own. most people say that i actually look less than 20 weeks along--even though i wouldn't really mind a bigger baby bump! regardless, be kind to the expectant mothers in your life. we try to not take everyone's words seriously, but it's hard. we're hormonal. =)
