aiden john is here!!

we're overjoyed and so, so thankful to announce the arrival of aiden john, born january 16th, just before 8 o'clock in the morning, weighing 6 lbs 15 oz. he was named aiden after a.w. (aiden wilson) tozer, author of _the pursuit of God_ in hopes that he would become a man who pursues God with his whole heart. the "a" is also in honor of the biblical abraham who "believed God and it was created to him as righteousness." aiden shares his middle name with brently and brently's dad and is also named after my dad who's first name is john. thank you, Jesus, for allowing us the joy and privilege of raising 2 beautiful boys! you've been so gracious to us! here are a few pix from my parents' recent visit to az to meet our newest little man and spend time w/ his big brother. =)
