my mom's visit

i loved it. every minute of it. here are a few highlights: lindsey's rehearsal/rehearsal dinner, the wedding, doctor's appointment where mom heard zig's heartbeat, and saturday-- the most beautiful baby shower ever. so so glad my mom could be a part of so many special events all in one weekend. i loved having her here to celebrate with us. i cried when she left.

davey's last (arizona) supper

davey's last supper here in AZ was one of mixed emotions. i knew that it was a necessary move, and that he was pursuing the girl he loved. i was sad though to think of him not being here--not being able to invite him over for dinner or to watch a movie w/ brent and me. but since his move in june, BIG things have happened, and God has really worked out the details. first of all, he's ENGAGED to a great girl: breeann. second of all, he promised to visit more since we're having a boy. =) anyway, here are a few pix from the evening starting w/ dinner before we announced that we were pregnant. above is a picture of david the MOMENT he read the iron-on shirt i had made for him. =)
